Engineering a pattern is a process, so I will keep working it. I am certainly going to find a place to use the pocket idea again!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17049287568094965278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4322328411043333175.post-64495471247152069152017-08-18T02:47:36.767-04:002017-08-18T02:47:36.767-04:00I like the pockets on that t shirt dress too. If it doesn't make the grade maybe you should make it up again in another fabric.BarbaraShowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07026317469719944260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4322328411043333175.post-73607637431815044102017-08-17T22:06:39.950-04:002017-08-17T22:06:39.950-04:00I am all over 'nice fabrics,' and have giv...I am all over 'nice fabrics,' and have given myself permission (as Diane Ericson says) to use the good stuff! I don't get enough sewing time to spend it with crumby fabric! It's part of the fun for me!
I always wash my linens several times before I use them. They really change and soften quite a bit with washing. Anything with rayon is quite comfortable – my fave, actually. And glad to hear that the linen knit was also comfortable. The linen knits I've encountered, have been kind of scratchy even though they're quite lightweight.
Also love the French Terry sweatshirt – it's got great style and looks super comfortable and cozy. Sometimes you just need cozy.Vancouver Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11003537173366037602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4322328411043333175.post-65858128455339734162017-08-17T17:01:12.275-04:002017-08-17T17:01:12.275-04:00Not sure if it's deliberate, but you are so ri...Not sure if it's deliberate, but you are so right about loving a problem-solving-opportunity! All of your garments are fun to see...do you deliberately create opportunities for problem-solving?? As in having limited yardage? It works so well for you, and we can learn from your example...Ms. Sewphie, my continuing education leader...😍😍😍milliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08485822448655590647noreply@blogger.com
